Ghost Rock Riesling 2024

Ghost Rock Riesling is an Estate Range Tasmanian Riesling from vineyards overlooking Bass Strait.

Ghost Rock is a family-owned estate at Northdown on the north-west coast of Tasmania, where the vineyards sit on gentle slopes looking out towards Bass Strait. The Arnold family run the property, with Justin Arnold making the wines on site. The cool maritime climate and long, mild ripening season give fruit with natural acidity and fine structure, well suited to the classic cool-climate varieties. Riesling is one of Tasmania's great strengths: the long, cool growing season preserves the variety's naturally high acidity and delicacy. The Estate Range wines come from the family's own vineyards, and this Riesling is made in a fresh, precise style, fermented cool in stainless steel to retain its purity, then sealed under screwcap to preserve freshness and allow it to age well.

Crisp and pure, it pairs with oysters, fresh crab and lightly spiced Asian dishes; serve chilled at 7 to 9 degrees.
