Ghost Rock Supernatural Summer Skins 2025

Ghost Rock Supernatural Summer Skins is a skin-contact Pinot Gris blend from north-west Tasmania, wild fermented and bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Ghost Rock is a family-owned estate at Northdown on the north-west coast of Tasmania, where the vineyards sit on gentle slopes looking out towards Bass Strait. The Arnold family run the property, with Justin Arnold making the wines on site. The cool maritime climate and long, mild ripening season give fruit with natural acidity and fine structure, well suited to the classic cool-climate varieties. The Supernatural range is made with a light hand: wild ferments, no fining, no filtration and low sulphur. Summer Skins is built on Pinot Gris left on its skins for colour and texture, with a portion of Pinot Noir and a component of barrel-fermented Riesling adding lift and a little extra weight. It is sealed under screwcap.

A textural, gently phenolic wine for Asian-inspired dishes, grilled prawns and summer salads; serve lightly chilled at 8 to 10 degrees.
