Graci Etna Rosso Arcuria DOC 2022

Graci Etna Rosso Arcuria is a Nerello Mascalese from a single contrada on the northern slope of Mount Etna.

Etna's north face rises through terraced vineyards planted on black volcanic sand and lava flows of different ages, each contrada carrying its own character, and the altitude here keeps acidity high despite the Sicilian latitude. Arcuria sits at around 600 metres in Passopisciaro. Alberto Graci left banking in 2004 to take on his family's vineyards and works the old bush vines, some of them ungrafted and more than a century old, with native yeast fermentation and ageing in large old oak casks.

Serve at 16 degrees with roast pork, tuna or a mushroom pasta. It will develop over ten years.
