Grosset Springvale Riesling 2026

Grosset Springvale is a dry Riesling from the Watervale sub-region of the Clare Valley.

Watervale lies at the southern end of the valley on limestone-derived red soils, which give Riesling a rounder, more open shape than the slate of Polish Hill further east, and the wine is usually approachable earlier. The Springvale vineyard is farmed organically. The fruit is whole-bunch pressed, cool-fermented in stainless steel, kept off oak and bottled young to hold its lime and blossom character.

Serve at 8 degrees with seafood, salads or lightly spiced dishes. It drinks well now and will hold for a decade.
