Gundog Estate M Burton Riesling Canberra District 2025

Gundog Estate M Burton Riesling is a dry Canberra District Riesling bearing the name of winemaker Matt Burton.

Riesling does especially well in this high, cool region across the ACT border, where nights are cold, autumns are dry and the soils are granite-based. This bottling sits alongside the estate's regional Riesling and is made in a dry, focused style. Cool fermentation in stainless steel, with no oak, lets acidity, texture and site character lead. The winemaker runs a cellar door in the Hunter Valley too.

Dry and finely structured, with bright acidity. Serve at 7–9°C with scallops, crab, Vietnamese rice-paper rolls or goat's cheese, now or over the next few years.
