Gundog Estate Rosé 2026

Gundog Estate Rosé is a dry pink wine of Shiraz and Sangiovese grown up in the Hilltops country of New South Wales.

Those vineyards sit high on the south-west slopes, cool enough that both varieties can be picked early with their acid still in place, then given only brief skin contact for colour. Fermentation finishes dry at three grams of sugar a litre, and no animal products are used along the way, so vegan drinkers are covered.

Cherry, mulberry and a dusting of spice come through, held by bright acid and the faintest line of tannin. Drink it at about 8 degrees within two years of vintage, with grilled prawns, a summer salad or a tomato tart.
