Hãhã Hawke's Bay Chardonnay 2025

Hãhã Hawke's Bay Chardonnay is a rich, full-flavoured Chardonnay from New Zealand's sunny North Island east coast.

The name comes from te reo Māori and speaks of catching your breath, a nod to the fruit-forward, generous style this family-owned company aims for. The grapes are grown in Hawke's Bay, where long warm days and a moderating Pacific influence ripen Chardonnay to a rich stone-fruit character. Toasty oak adds to flavours of nectarine, roasted cashew and brioche, and the palate is richly textured yet refreshing, balancing weight with bright acidity. Screw capped for freshness, it is ready to enjoy on release.

Chill it well, then let it sit out for a few minutes before pouring. It goes well with pork belly, chicken in a creamy sauce, salmon or a mushroom risotto.
