Heathcote Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz in a half bottle, from the ancient soils of central Victoria.

Heathcote's narrow band of red Cambrian greenstone soil, around half a billion years old, holds water through a dry summer and gives Shiraz depth with fine tannin. A half bottle ages faster than a full one, with proportionally more oxygen in the neck, so it comes to its peak sooner. The estate shares its winemaking team with Yabby Lake.

Serve at 17 degrees with barbecued beef or lamb. A half bottle serves two and is ready sooner than the 750.
