Heathcote is one of Victoria's most celebrated Shiraz regions, known for its ancient red Cambrian soils and warm, dry growing seasons that give deeply coloured, generous wines. Cravens Place is made in an approachable, early-drinking style, with the focus on primary fruit concentration and balance. The palate is sweet-fruited and supple, with juicy generosity and just a hint of oak spice for complexity. It is an easy introduction to the region, showing its warmth and depth of fruit without demanding time in the cellar.
