Heggies Vineyard Estate Eden Valley Chardonnay is a refined cool-climate white that pairs stone fruit with fine minerality.

Since the early 1970s the Heggies vineyard has been one of the Eden Valley's standout white wine sites. Established by the family behind Yalumba, it sits high in the Barossa Ranges, where elevation and cool nights slow ripening and preserve acidity. Chardonnay from these slopes is fragrant with fresh peach, nectarine and citrus zest, with hints of hazelnut and flint adding complexity, while the palate balances creamy texture against lively citrus freshness.

Chill lightly and serve alongside crab cakes, veal scaloppine or a leek and gruyère tart. Good now, it also has the balance to age for several years.
