Heggies Vineyard Estate Riesling 2025

Heggies Vineyard Estate Riesling is a classic high-altitude Eden Valley Riesling with citrus drive and a slatey finish.

Riesling has long been a mainstay at Heggies, the high Eden Valley vineyard established by the Hill-Smith family of Yalumba in the early 1970s. The site's elevation, cool nights and rocky soils produce Riesling with bright natural acidity and the distinctive slatey texture that marks the Heggies style. Green apple, lime zest and citrus blossom lead, with notes of pink grapefruit and a hint of native lilly pilly, before a finish of real length.

Serve well chilled with oysters, Thai fish cakes or a crisp Asian slaw. Excellent young, it is also well worth cellaring, as Eden Valley Riesling develops beautifully with age.
