Heirloom Vineyards Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc is a textured, generous take on the variety from South Australia's cool Adelaide Hills.

The Brooks family's approach at Heirloom is to match each variety with the region that suits it best, and for Sauvignon Blanc that is the Adelaide Hills, where altitude and cool nights keep the grape fresh. This version steers away from the sharp, overly green style the variety can fall into. Instead it offers an exotic, perfumed bouquet with hints of spice, grass and gunflint, a giving fruit profile of blackcurrant, grapefruit and ripe lemon, and a soft, mineral-water texture held together by savoury acidity.

Well chilled, it partners goat's cheese, asparagus with hollandaise or grilled fish tacos. Enjoy within a couple of years of vintage.
