Heirloom Vineyards A'Lambra Barossa Shiraz 2023

Heirloom Vineyards A'Lambra Barossa Shiraz is a dark, brooding reserve Shiraz and one of the top wines in the Heirloom range.

Grown in the Barossa, where Shiraz has been planted since the mid-nineteenth century, A'Lambra is crafted by winemaker Elena Brooks as a statement of the region. It captures a wide sweep of Barossa aromatics: plum, blackberry, mint, aniseed and eucalyptus, with cedar and vanilla from oak. The wine walks the line between ripe fruit and savouriness, with a deep core of black fruit that lifts and opens with air, and tannins that trail long through the finish.

Give it a good decant and serve at about 18 degrees with rare roast beef, venison or a rich mushroom and red wine stew. It will reward long-term cellaring.
