Description

Henschke Innes Vineyard Pinot Gris is a dry white from a single block in the Adelaide Hills.

The Innes vineyard sits at Lenswood, high enough that the fruit ripens slowly and holds its acidity, which is what separates a Pinot Gris with texture and drive from one that turns broad and soft. The Henschke family has been making wine in South Australia since 1868, and bottles this site on its own rather than blending it away.

Serve at 10 degrees with pork, roast chicken or a soft cheese. Drink over the next four years.
