Description

Hesketh Twist of Fate is a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Limestone Coast, Cabernet's heartland in South Australia.

The limestone that runs beneath this whole stretch of the south-east, from Coonawarra to Wrattonbully, is what makes the region so reliable for Cabernet: it holds moisture and keeps ripening even. The wines show the blackcurrant and leafy notes the variety is known for. Hesketh selects parcels from growers across the district and matures the wine in French and American oak.

Serve at 17 degrees with roast lamb, beef or hard cheese. Drink over the next eight years.
