Description

Hesketh Midday Somewhere is a Shiraz from the Limestone Coast, in a medium-bodied regional style.

Shiraz from the cooler south-east of South Australia is peppery and savoury rather than rich, quite different from the Barossa or McLaren Vale, because the limestone soils and ocean air stretch the season out. Hesketh selects parcels from growers across the region and matures the wine in a mix of French and American oak.

Serve at 16 degrees with barbecued meats, lamb or a lentil dish. Drink over the next six years.
