Idée Fixe Brut Rosé 2023

Idée Fixe Brut Rosé is a pale, elegant Margaret River sparkling rosé made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Created by Vasse Felix, the estate that planted Margaret River's first commercial vineyard in 1967, the label is devoted entirely to traditional-method sparkling wine. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are blended to give a pale salmon colour and a persistent, lively bead, with fresh strawberry, red cherry and crunchy white nectarine over hints of baked pastry. The palate is bright with minerality, moving from finger lime and rose petal to a creamy mousse, and a delicate dosage keeps the focus on fruit purity.

Serve well chilled as an aperitif, or with smoked salmon blinis, a prawn cocktail or a strawberry tart. Enjoy now or over the next few years.
