Inama Foscarino Soave Classico 2023

Inama Foscarino Soave Classico comes from the Monte Foscarino hill, the estate's original holding.

Monte Foscarino is one of the great volcanic slopes of Soave Classico, and Giuseppe Inama bought vineyards here in the 1960s when the appellation's reputation was being eroded by bulk production from the plains. The old pergola-trained Garganega on the hill gives a wine of real weight for the variety. Fermentation is partly in oak with lees ageing, which separates this from the estate's stainless-steel bottlings.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast chicken, rich fish or a soft cheese. It rewards eight years.
