Inama Vulcaia Sauvignon Del Veneto 2024

Inama Vulcaia is a Sauvignon Blanc grown on the volcanic soils of the Soave hills.

Sauvignon Blanc is not a traditional Veneto variety, and Inama was among the first to plant it seriously on the basalt around Soave, where the dark volcanic rock gives a firmer, more mineral wine than the variety shows in cooler climates. The name comes from that volcanic origin. The wine is fermented cool, with a portion given lees contact for texture.

Serve at 10 degrees with asparagus, goat's cheese or grilled fish. Drink over the next five years.
