Jansz Tasmania Premium Rosé NV

Jansz Tasmania Premium Rosé is a non-vintage sparkling rosé built on Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

Tasmania's cool climate is ideal for Pinot Noir grown for sparkling wine, giving delicate fruit and natural acidity, and the house has made the most of it from its base at Pipers River in the north-east of the state. Owned by the Hill-Smith family, it works only in traditional-method sparkling, with the second fermentation in bottle. Pinot Noir leads this blend, supported by Chardonnay, and time on lees brings a brioche note and a creamy, textured palate while keeping the wine fresh and lively. It's made to be enjoyed as soon as it's released.

Serve it chilled on a warm afternoon, or with strawberries, prosciutto and melon, salmon sashimi or a Thai-style prawn salad. It's a cheerful pick for picnics and summer parties.
