Jim Barry Annabelle's Rosé 2025

Jim Barry Annabelle's Rosé is a crisp, pale Clare Valley rosé made from a blend of red grapes.

Named for Peter Barry's first grandchild, Annabelle, born in 2015, the same year the family bought a vineyard beside her home, this rosé reflects a family business now into its third generation. Jim Barry, the Clare Valley's first qualified winemaker, founded the label in 1959, and the family now farms vineyards across the region. Mourvèdre (Mataro) leads the blend, with Shiraz, Merlot and Grenache adding colour and fruit. The result is pale salmon in colour, with crisp natural acidity and an elegant, finely balanced palate that carries its freshness through to a long, clean finish.

Serve it well chilled. It's a natural match for summer lunches: prawns on the barbecue, Niçoise salad, grilled haloumi or a spread of mezze.
