Description

Jim Barry Single Vineyard The Farm Cabernet Sauvignon is a single-site Clare Valley Cabernet from the Barry family's own vineyard.

Grown on The Farm vineyard in the Lodge Hill area of the Clare Valley's eastern ranges, this Cabernet comes from one of the family's higher sites, where cool nights help retain freshness and fine structure. The winery was founded in 1959 by the Clare's first qualified winemaker, and the family, now in its third generation, bottles standout vineyards separately to show their individual character.

Serve at around 16 to 18 degrees with grilled lamb, beef or hard cheeses. As a young Cabernet it will benefit from decanting, or from a few years in the cellar.
