Jim Barry Single Vineyard The Farm Riesling is a precise, citrus-driven Riesling from a single Barry family vineyard in the Clare Valley.

The Clare Valley is one of Australia's great Riesling regions, and the Barry family has been making it since Jim Barry founded the winery in 1959. This release comes from The Farm, one of the family's vineyards in the higher eastern part of the valley, and is bottled on its own to show the site's detail. Wet limestone minerality and a saline freshness sit beneath bright lime and satsuma fruit, with a fine, chalky texture supporting the natural acidity. It's a Riesling with more depth than its brightness first suggests, finishing long and clean.

Well chilled, it's excellent with sashimi, spanner crab salad or pork and ginger dumplings. It will also reward several years in the cellar.
