Jim Barry Watervale Riesling 2025

Jim Barry Watervale Riesling is a classic Clare Valley Riesling from the Watervale sub-region.

Watervale is the part of the Clare Valley most associated with Riesling, and it is where the Barry family grows the grapes for this wine. Riesling has been at the heart of the family's range for decades, and this bottling is their everyday expression of the district. It is made without oak to keep the fruit bright and pure. Expect an aromatic lift of white flowers and orange blossom, with lime, orange rind and a touch of wild lavender, and a juicy palate of lime cordial, lime leaf and orange zest that finishes with real length.

Keep it cold and open it with fish tacos, salt and pepper squid, or a Thai-style chicken salad. It is delicious now and will also age gracefully for five years or more.
