Description

Kahiwi Cuvée Stella is a Central Otago Pinot Noir, a second cuvée alongside Madeline.

Making two cuvées from one region is a way of separating parcels that behave differently, whether by site, clone or ferment. Central Otago's extreme day-night temperature swing and schist soils give Pinot Noir concentration with fine tannin. Fruit is hand-picked and matured in French oak.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or a mushroom tart. It develops over eight years.
