Kings County Straight Bourbon 200ml

Kings County Straight Bourbon 200ml is a high-malt Brooklyn bourbon in a 200ml bottle.

Most Kentucky bourbon uses wheat or rye as its secondary grain; this one uses English Golden Promise barley instead, alongside 80 per cent organic corn grown in the Finger Lakes. The whole approach borrows from Scotch practice, with double pot distillation in place of the column stills that dominate American whiskey production, and then four to six years in various new charred oak barrels. Founded in 2010, Kings County was the first whiskey distillery to operate in Brooklyn since Prohibition, and it has been housed in the Navy Yard's Paymaster Building since 2012.

Caramel, vanilla and dark berry spice over a warm, well-composed palate. Neat in a small pour, or over a single large cube. The 200ml bottle is the right size for two Old Fashioneds or for finding out whether this is your bourbon.
