Description

Kir-Yianni Akakies Sparkling Rosé is made from Xinomavro grown at altitude in Amyndeon.

Amyndeon is the only Greek appellation that permits sparkling and rosé wines alongside its reds, a recognition of what Xinomavro's acidity does in a cool, high region. Akakies means acacias, after the trees around the vineyard. The wine is made by the tank method, bottled young to keep the fruit forward.

Serve cold at 7 degrees as an aperitif, or with seafood and mezze. Drink young.
