Kooyong Estate Pinot Noir 2024

Kooyong Estate Pinot Noir is Kooyong's estate blend of Pinot Noir from its Mornington Peninsula vineyards.

Pinot Noir is at the core of what Kooyong does. The Estate wine is assembled from the best barrels across the property's blocks, with oak kept discreet so the fruit and site show through. Over the years it has become one of the Peninsula's reference Pinots. The 2024 has dark and red cherry, crushed strawberry and pomegranate, with blood orange peel, earthy spice and a gentle frame of toasty oak. Red fruits fill the palate, supported by fine tannins and bright acidity.

Serve slightly cool, around 14 to 16 degrees. Duck breast, seared salmon or a mushroom and thyme pie are all good matches. It will also benefit from cellaring over the medium term.
