Ktima Matsa Malagousia PGI 2024

Ktima Matsa Malagousia is made from a Greek variety rescued from near extinction.

Malagousia had almost disappeared by the 1970s before the agronomist Vassilis Logothetis and the winemaker Evangelos Gerovassiliou propagated the surviving material; it now produces some of Greece's most perfumed whites. The estate sits on the Attica plateau outside Athens, where altitude moderates the summer heat.

Serve at 10 degrees with grilled fish, salads or mezze. Drink within four years.
