La Boca Malbec 2025

La Boca Malbec comes from Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes in western Argentina.

Mendoza is high desert, with vineyards between eight hundred and fifteen hundred metres, almost no rainfall and irrigation from Andean snowmelt. Intense sunlight and cold nights give Malbec its deep colour and soft tannin. The variety came from Cahors in south-west France and has become Argentina's signature. La Boca takes its name from the Buenos Aires neighbourhood.

Serve at 17 degrees with grilled beef, empanadas or a spiced stew. Drink within five years.
