La Maschera Pinot Grigio 2025

La Maschera Pinot Grigio is a textured, Italian-inspired Pinot Grigio from South Australia's Limestone Coast.

The name, meaning 'the mask', is a nod to the Carnival of Venice, and the idea is to link the cool north-east of Italy with the cool maritime climate of the Limestone Coast. Retail listings describe wild fermentation in older French oak, which gives the wine more texture than most Pinot Grigio. Straw with green hues, it shows jasmine, white nectarine, fennel and wildflowers, with hints of apricot, cardamom and cashew, a honeydew and cinnamon mid-palate, and crunchy pear acidity.

Serve chilled with antipasto, grilled sardines, prosciutto and melon or a light pasta.
