Langmeil Live Wire Barossa Valley Riesling 2026

Langmeil Live Wire Barossa Valley Riesling is a crunchy, off-dry white from a family winery at Tanunda.

As the name suggests, this is an energetic style of Riesling, with zingy acidity and a gentle spritz. Langmeil leave a little residual sweetness in the wine, which softens the edges and makes it approachable for people who find bone-dry Riesling too austere. The fruit is grown in the Barossa Valley, where the Lindner family have been making wine since reviving the old Langmeil site in the mid-1990s, and it is fermented cool in stainless steel to hold on to lime and green apple freshness.

Serve it very cold with salt and pepper squid, Vietnamese rice paper rolls or a mild curry. It is also a good match for a Sunday roast pork with crackling and apple sauce.
