Langmeil Spring Fever Chardonnay 2025

Langmeil Spring Fever Chardonnay is a fresh, fruit-driven Chardonnay from a Barossa family winery.

Langmeil is best known for its old-vine Shiraz, but the winery also makes a small range of whites for everyday drinking. This Chardonnay is made in a bright, modern style, with the emphasis on stone fruit and citrus. Winemaking is aimed at freshness, with any oak kept in the background, and a little time on lees gives the palate a creamy edge. Melon, citrus and tropical fruit lead, with cucumber and a hint of marzipan on the nose and a touch of minerality to finish.

Chill it well and serve with roast chicken, crab linguine or grilled fish with lemon butter. It is best enjoyed in its youth.
