Lark Hill Estate Grown Riesling 2023

Lark Hill Estate Grown Riesling is made from biodynamic fruit at 860 metres above Lake George.

Altitude is the defining feature here: the vineyard is one of the highest in Australia, and the cold nights give Riesling a piercing acidity and lime character that take years to soften. The Carpenter family planted in 1978 and farms biodynamically. The fruit is whole-bunch pressed, fermented cool and bottled dry without oak.

Serve at 8 degrees with oysters, sashimi or a citrus salad. It will age for fifteen years.
