Description
Description
Lark Hill Regional Grüner Veltliner is made from the Austrian variety the estate introduced to Australia.
Lark Hill planted the first Grüner Veltliner in the country in 2007, reasoning that a grape suited to cool, continental Austria would work at 860 metres in the Canberra District. It gives a dry white with white pepper and citrus and firm acidity. The estate has been certified biodynamic since 2003. The wine is fermented cool and bottled without oak.
Serve at 10 degrees with schnitzel, pork or green vegetables. Drink over the next five years.
