Description

Lark Hill Regional Pinot Noir is grown in the Canberra District's cool, high country.

Pinot Noir needs a long, cool season, and the Lake George escarpment at 860 metres provides that at the cost of frost risk and small crops. Lark Hill has farmed biodynamically since 2003. The fruit is hand-picked, fermented with native yeast and a share of whole bunches, and matured in French oak with little new wood.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, salmon or a mushroom tart. Drink over the next six years.
