Lark Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir 2023

Lark Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from the estate's own biodynamic plantings on the Lake George escarpment.

The home vineyard sits at 860 metres, among the highest in Australia, where small crops and a short season give Pinot Noir concentration and firm acidity. David and Sue Carpenter planted it in 1978 and certified it biodynamic in 2003; their son Chris now makes the wines. Fermentation uses native yeast and whole bunches, with French oak maturation.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or mushroom dishes. It rewards ten years.
