Description
Le Petit Cochonnet Chardonnay is a fresh, easy-drinking white from the sun-soaked vineyards of southern France's Languedoc region.
The Languedoc is one of France's largest and warmest wine-growing areas, stretching along the Mediterranean coast, where abundant sunshine and a long growing season allow varietal wines like Chardonnay to ripen fully while retaining lively acidity. Wines produced under the broader IGP Pays d'Oc designation give winemakers the flexibility to focus on clean, fruit-forward, varietally true wines rather than strict appellation rules, making the region a reliable source of approachable everyday drinking. Le Petit Cochonnet - “the little piglet” - takes its playful name from the region's relaxed, unpretentious character.
A light, uncomplicated white, it's ideal as an apéritif or alongside simple seafood and salads.
