Le Ragnaie Brunello di Montal Casanovina Montosoli 2020

Le Ragnaie Casanovina Montosoli is a single-vineyard Brunello from the celebrated Montosoli hill.

Montosoli rises north of the town of Montalcino and is one of the few sites in the zone with a reputation of its own, its galestro and limestone soils producing wines of unusual perfume and precision. The estate farms a parcel there, well away from its high home vineyard to the south. Fermentation is with native yeast and ageing in large oak casks.

Decant several hours ahead and serve at 17 degrees with braised beef, game or truffle dishes. It rewards twenty-five years.
