Lethbridge Chardonnay 375ml 2023

Lethbridge Chardonnay 2023 is a cool-climate Chardonnay from Geelong in Victoria, Australia, offered here in a 375ml half bottle.

The blend draws on the Lethbridge home vineyard alongside two further cool, stony sites across the Geelong and Henty zones, one of them Hat Rock on the Bellarine Peninsula between Drysdale and Portarlington. Geelong and Henty are both maritime, wind-exposed parts of southern Victoria, and fruit from several sites gives the winemaking team more to work with than a single parcel would. The half bottle holds two generous glasses.

Cool-climate Victorian Chardonnay of this kind tends toward citrus and white stone fruit with a firm line of acidity rather than weight or sweetness. Serve at around 10 to 12 degrees in a decent-sized glass, and pour it with oysters, grilled whiting, roast chicken or a simple pasta with cream and lemon.
