Lo Stesso Fiano 2025

Lo Stesso Fiano is a Heathcote white made from the southern Italian Fiano grape by sisters Emily McNally and Georgia Roberts of the Jasper Hill family.

Lo Stesso, Italian for 'the same', is the label of Emily McNally and Georgia Roberts, the daughters of Jasper Hill founders Ron and Elva Laughton in Heathcote, central Victoria. They chose Fiano, a variety from Campania in southern Italy, because it holds its natural acidity and texture in warm, dry climates, making it well suited to Heathcote's inland conditions. The fruit is organically grown, hand picked and fermented to dryness with a gentle hand, keeping the wine's natural texture and freshness. It is bottled under screwcap to preserve its brightness and is an example of the Mediterranean varieties now finding a home in central Victoria.

Textural and dry with fresh acidity, it suits grilled fish, pasta with vegetables or herbs and antipasto; serve chilled at around 10 degrees.
