Description
Description
Loimer Lois Grüner Veltliner is a dry white from the Kamptal in Lower Austria.
Grüner Veltliner is Austria's most planted variety and gives a dry white with white pepper and citrus character, built on acidity rather than aromatics. The Kamptal follows the Kamp river north of the Danube, on loess and gravel soils. Fred Loimer farms biodynamically at Langenlois and is among the growers who pushed Austrian wine towards lower intervention. Lois is the estate's everyday bottling.
Serve at 10 degrees with schnitzel, pork or green vegetables. Drink within four years.
