Loimer Pet Nat Muskateller Grüner Veltliner 2021

Loimer Pet Nat is a bottle-fermented sparkling of Muskateller and Grüner Veltliner, bottled before fermentation finishes.

Pétillant naturel is the oldest sparkling method there is: the wine goes into bottle with fermentation still running, so the carbon dioxide is trapped rather than induced by a second fermentation, and nothing is added at any point. The results are cloudy, dry and lower in pressure than Champagne. Fred Loimer farms biodynamically in the Kamptal.

Serve cold at 8 degrees as an aperitif or with charcuterie and fried food. Drink young, and chill upright before opening.
