Lokoya Howell Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Lokoya Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is grown above the fog line on Napa's eastern ridge.

Howell Mountain sits above four hundred metres, high enough to rise clear of the valley fog, so the vines get full sun and cool nights without the moderating blanket below. The volcanic ash and tufa soils are poor and well drained, producing small berries and dense, tannic wines. Lokoya works only Napa mountain fruit, bottling each appellation on its own.

Decant several hours ahead and serve at 17 degrees with roast beef or game. It is built for twenty-five years.
