Louis Billard Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru 'Petite Chapelle' is a premier cru red Burgundy from one of Gevrey-Chambertin's smaller, more delicate premier cru sites, made by one of the region's promising young producers.

Louis Billard is a young Burgundian winemaker who grew up around Domaine Billard Père et Fils near Meursault before building his own small négociant-style label. He trained across some of Burgundy's most respected cellars, including a stint at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, before working vintages abroad, an experience that has shaped a meticulous, hands-off approach centred on gentle extraction, indigenous-yeast fermentation and careful sourcing of parcels across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune.

This is a refined, terroir-focused style of Gevrey-Chambertin, well suited to those who enjoy the more perfumed side of the appellation and pairs naturally with classic Burgundian fare.
