Description
Louis Jadot Couvent des Jacobins Bourgogne Blanc is the house's regional Chardonnay, named for its cellars in Beaune.
The Couvent des Jacobins is a former Dominican convent in Beaune that Jadot uses as its cellar, and the name goes on the regional wines. Bourgogne Blanc draws from vineyards across the Côte d'Or and the Mâconnais, giving a wine meant for drinking young rather than cellaring. Fermentation is in a mix of tank and older oak barrels.
Serve at 11 degrees with fish, chicken or a soft cheese. Drink within four years.
