Description

Louis Jadot Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées is a premier cru on the northern edge of the commune, beside Bonnes Mares.

Chambolle is the most perfumed of the Côte de Nuits villages, its thin limestone soils giving Pinot Noir finesse rather than power, and Les Fuées sits directly below the Bonnes Mares Grand Cru boundary. Jadot has worked in the commune for generations. Fermentation is with native yeast after destemming, with ageing in French oak barrels.

Serve at 16 degrees with duck, game birds or a mushroom risotto. It will develop over fifteen years.
