Description

Louis Jadot Fixin Premier Cru Clos du Chapitre comes from a walled vineyard at the northern end of the Côte de Nuits.

Fixin lies just above Gevrey-Chambertin and produces sturdier, more tannic Pinot Noir than its famous neighbour, at a fraction of the price. Clos du Chapitre is a monopole-style walled site, historically owned by the cathedral chapter of Langres, and among the best land in the commune. Jadot ferments with native yeast and ages in French oak.

Decant and serve at 16 degrees with beef, game or mushroom dishes. It rewards twelve years.
