Description

Louis Jadot Clos la Croix de Pierre is a Pernand-Vergelesses premier cru from the hill of Corton.

Pernand-Vergelesses sits in a side valley behind the Corton hill, cooler and later-ripening than Aloxe on the other side, which gives Pinot Noir a lighter, more mineral character. The Clos la Croix de Pierre is a walled site Jadot holds through its Domaine des Héritiers. Fermentation is with native yeast, with ageing in French oak.

Serve at 15 degrees with roast chicken, pork or mushroom dishes. It develops over ten years.
