Description

Louis Roederer Collection 247 is the current release of the house's multi-vintage Champagne.

Collection replaced Brut Premier from 2021 and works differently from a standard non-vintage blend: a majority of one recent harvest is blended with wine drawn from a perpetual reserve begun in 2012, plus a portion aged in oak foudres, and the number marks the release rather than a year. Louis Roederer was founded at Reims in 1776 and farms most of the fruit it uses, with a large and growing share certified biodynamic.

Serve at 8 to 10 degrees as an aperitif, or with oysters, sushi, fried food or an aged comté.
